It will have the environmental impact of preventing over 7,000 pounds of CO2 emissions every year. That is the equivalent of planting 15 trees a year. You would need to leave your car in the garage for 200 days each year to have the same reduction in harmful greenhouse gas emissions. The home will receive Energy Star certification. The use of a solar system and other energy saving items such as Wolf and Sub-Zero Energy Star rated appliances, 14 Seer HVAC units, tankless hot water heaters, Al-Clad insulated windows, cellulose insulation, and a radiant barrier will also reduce utility costs. The home is also equipped with a gas line ready for a natural gas generator and even a "Green" garage door.
